One Love Coffee in Kyiv, Ukraine is the epitome of what coffee can create for our world. Coffee unites across borders and transcends all politics.

Upon the onset of the Russian invasion, One Love Coffee continued to open their
doors, serving coffee to create community and address devastation. One year of
ongoing war illuminates the need for heightened support. Conditions are not
improving. Many lives have been lost, people have left, and businesses and
homes destroyed.

Volodymyr Zadiraka, founder of One Love Coffee, has 6 Espresso Bars, a Roastery, and Restaurant. Despite air raid alerts, Volodymyr and his team rise above to
serve 900+ meals per day for military forces and first responders. When one enters a One Love shop, the ever present reality of seeing abandoned buildings, remnants of exploded vehicles, and damaged structures temporarily disappears giving you a sense of hope, love, and freedom. They began hosting uplifting community events and providing medical supplies to those in need.

Eric Dobbs, founder of Seven Seas Roasting Co., wanted to support. As a Navy Senior Chief Veteran, he knows firsthand the effects of war and has committed
his retirement to being the love this world needs through coffee. He reached out to One Love Coffee on Instagram and the connection was made. A fundraising campaign ignited and with support from customers, Seven Seas Roasting Co. hand delivered medical supplies and $10,000, which resolved critical debts incurred from unexpected demands of war.

Eric was inspired to bring as much attention to the efforts of Volodymyr and team. No one is prepared to survive War, let alone stepping up to serve. We are raising funds to help One Love Coffee keep their doors open.

In September of 2022, following our initial fundraiser, where we managed to raise an impressive $10,000 for One Love, we dedicated 50 hours of travel time to hand-deliver essential medical supplies and the funds in Kyiv, Ukraine.
